Race eight started cleanly in a more shifty north westerly breeze and Rob Johnston (USA) sailed a good first lap to lead at the bottom mark. He continued to win the race, his second victory of the championship, which moved him comfortably up to second overall going into the final race today. Second was Terry Flynn (USA) on "Chunder" who moved up to third place behind Johnston. Ian Ainslie, with a sixth in race eight continues to lead on the penultimate day, but with only ten points separating the top three with one race to go, things are pretty tense.
Racing finishes today.
