ICS Add Their Support To Championship
ISAF World Sailing Games 2006
Lake Neusiedl, Austria
The University for Information and Communications solutions (ICS) will be supporting the ISAF World Sailing Games 2006 when they take place in Lake Neusiedl, Austria from 10-20 May next year. With around 1,500 sailors from 70 nations expected to take part, they will be helping to provide crucial technical assistance at the Championship.
The students of the ICS in Eisenstadt are professionally trained and orientated to co-ordinate primarily complex technical information and design solutions. For four students the ISAF World Sailing Games offers a great chance for them to put their skills into practice.
This team of students, headed by college graduate Andreas SCHRAMEK, will develop a net-based database. This database will make it easy to handle accreditations, persons and vehicle administration. 'We will try our best to offer the 900 sailors, trainers and the many visitors a smoothly run operation during the entire period of the World Sailing Games. The co-operation with the Technical University ICS is another step to move towards a successful sailing event,' said General Manager Kolomon WATZEK, who is delighted with the new co-operation.
