The first two positions report to the National Programmes Director and are based in Auckland, New Zealand. Hours are flexible to suit the right people. Position descriptions are available on the Yachting NZ Website.
The Yachting Programmes Coordinator will take responsibility for implementation of several programmes related to race management, National Championships, the training and qualification of officials, Learn to Sail and Have a Go programmes and some supporting publications.
The position would suit a person with some yachting experience and a passion for increasing participation in the sport. Good administrative and planning skills are required.
The Coaching Development Manager will take responsibility for all of Yachting New Zealand's coaching and instructor programmes and their ongoing development. This will extend from Learn to Sail to High Performance programmes.
He/She will be responsible for undertaking a review of our current coaching structure and training pathway, making any necessary amendments and then subsequent implementation throughout the country. The successful applicant must have experience in coaching development. A yachting background would be preferred, but is not essential.

Yachting New Zealand is calling for applications from sailing coaches interested in coaching a number of New Zealand sailors at the 2005 Laser Radial Open Women & Youth European Championships in Croatia, in August 2005.
Yachting New Zealand offers to pay wages, insurance, coach boat costs & accommodation for the duration of the event, as well as travel to and from the event.
