Beijing 2008

The Notice of Race for the USA's 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Team Trials - Sailing is now available. Six yacht clubs in Southern California and Newport, Rhode Island, will host the Team Trials for the Olympic and Paralympic Classes from 3-14 October 2007.

Upon approval from the US Olympic Committee (USOC), the athletes who win the Trials in each class will be named to the US Olympic Team and US Paralympic Team and compete in the 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Games in China. The Notice of Race includes class eligibility and qualification procedures, regulations and host clubs' contact and venue information.

About Beijing 2008

The Olympic Sailing Competition will take place in Qingdao from the 9-21 August, with the Medal Races taking place from 16-21 August. 22-23 August are scheduled as reserve days. Gold medals will be decided in eleven Olympic sailing events, featuring a total of 400 sailors.
