ISAF has been officially informed by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) that the 2001 List of Prohibited Classes of Substances and Prohibited Methods published by the IOC on 1 January 2001 was not prepared in accordance with the procedures laid down in the Olympic Movement Anti-Doping Code.
WADA has therefore advised ISAF that this list should not be adopted as part of the ISAF Anti-Doping Code, Regulation 19.
The correct process of approval is now being effected and ISAF has been advised that WADA will give formal notification regarding the approval of the new List. Until such notification is received, please be advised that the list dated 1 April 2000 remains in force.
