Important Notice To All Sailors And ISAF Graded Events

ISAF World Sailing Rankings

From Monday 20 August 2007, all results submitted to the ISAF Secretariat for inclusion on the ISAF World Sailing Rankings must include the ISAF Sailor ID for every sailor competing in that event.
Sailors, including all crew, should ensure they have an ISAF Sailor ID before they enter an event. Sailors, including all crew, should ensure they provide the event with their correct ISAF Sailor ID.

As per ISAF Regulation 24.2.2 (f), all results from ISAF Graded Match Race Events sent to the ISAF Secretariat must include the ISAF Sailor ID for the competing skippers.

ISAF Sailor IDs are free to obtain.

To check your ISAF Sailor ID, search for yourself here - www.sailing.org/isafsailor/sailorsearch.asp.

If you do not already have an ISAF Sailor ID, go here to sign up (it only takes a minute) - www.sailing.org/isafsailor/register.asp.

If you have more than one ISAF Sailor ID and would like ISAF to remove obsolete ISAF Sailor IDs, please CLICK HERE to contact ISAF. Please include all of your ISAF Sailor IDs and specify which ISAF Sailor ID you would like to keep.

Decisions Of Principle

These changes have been reflected in the ISAF World Sailing Rankings, Decisions of Principle, with a new point 17 added, reproduced in full below:

In relation to ISAF Regulation 24.1.1 (e) all results should include ISAF Sailor IDs, forenames, surnames and, when competing in mixed fleets, gender, for all crew members. All results should include overall finishing positions, overall scores, individual race positions, nationality and crew members for all boats.
