The Evaluation Panel will submit their report to the ISAF Events Committee and ISAF Council at the ISAF Mid-Year Meeting, to be held in Paris, France from 4-6 May.
Other topics discussed by the Equipment Committee were the RS:X sailboard, supply of 49er national gennakers at the Olympic Games and deferred class status applications from the Bic Techno windsurfer, Speed Windsurfing and SL16 catamaran Classes. Proposals were made to amend the ISAF Regulations to remove the automatic rite of all ISAF Classes to hold a World Championship. Class Annual activity reports were reviewed.
The ISAF Mid-Year Meeting in Paris will begin on Friday 4 May, with the ISAF Events Committee. Saturday and Sunday 5-6 May will see ISAF President Göran PETERSSON (SWE) chair the ISAF Council in two full days of meetings. Also during the meetings, at a celebratory dinner and presentation hosted by ISAF and San Pellegrino, International Olympic Committee President Jacques ROGGE (BEL) will be presented with the ISAF Beppe Croce Trophy for outstanding voluntary contribution to the sport.
