CYA Seeks Domestic Racing Co-ordinator

The Canadian Yachting Association (CYA) is accepting resumes for the Domestic Racing Co-ordinator position.
The ideal candidate will have a background in competitive sailboat racing at the national level, with experience in the sailing community as an athlete, coach, race official, and regatta organizer. Applicant should also have administration skills. Ability to speak in both official languages would be an asset.

This is a one-year contract covering the incumbent's leave of absence, commencing September 2005. An opportunity for successful candidate to start in the summer of 2005 may exist. CYA has no contractual obligations to successful applicants beyond September 2006, but may endeavour to continue to employ the successful candidate performing well in a similar position at the end of this contract term.

CYA is the Sport Governing Body for sailing in Canada, based out of Portsmouth Olympic Harbor in Kingston, Ontario. The Domestic Racing Co-ordinator position is funded in part by Sport Canada.
