John DINSDALE of Hobie Cat Europe, said, "It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that Hobie Cat become involved with Connect to Sailing. It is our belief, that more people are leaving than are joining our sport and for sure that has us concerned. We remain committed not only to supporting the racing part of the sport, but additionally, we believe firmly in trying to attract more people to sailing, that the enjoyment of the sport is crucial to introducing and having young people stay on."
Performance Sailcraft, Hyde Sails and the European Confederation of Nautical Industries (ECNI) have all been involved with Connect to Sailing since the partner programme started in 2006 and continued their support in 2007.
