Entries can be made through the regatta website at www.skandiasailforgoldregatta.co.uk.
Last year, the Skandia Sail for Gold Regatta attracted a record 240 boats from 11 countries.
The 2009 Skandia Sail for Gold Regatta is part of the ISAF Sailing World Cup series for the first time. With the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games approaching, the regatta, now in its fourth year, is expecting to attract around 500 crews this year, all keen to gain experience of the venue.
Racing starts on Monday 14 September, with the Medal Racing coupled with a live and interactive Spectator Day at WPNSA on Saturday 19 September. Spectators wishing to pre-book free of charge tickets to the Spectator Day can also do so via the regatta website.
Competitor registration will be on Saturday and Sunday 12-13 September.
The Skandia Sail for Gold Regatta is organised by the Royal Yachting Association, sponsored by Skandia and supported by UK Sport via their National Lottery-funded World Class Events Programme.
