Notice Of Race For Olympic Test

The Notice of Race for the 2007 Olympic Test Event, the ISAF Grade 2 Qingdao International Regatta, has been published on www.sailing.org and the event website - www.sailing2008.org. The Qingdao Olympic Sailing Centre will host the regatta from 9-24 August, with racing on Fushan Bay from 15-23 August.

Racing in the eleven Olympic events will take place with courses and competition as similar as possible to those to be used in the 2008 Olympic Sailing Competition. A ten race opening series is scheduled for each event (15 for the 49er), followed by the decisive Medal Race for the top ten competitors.

This year entries are limited to one boat per nation per event. Entries must be made through ISAF Member National Authorities (MNA). MNAs have until 31 March 2007 to complete the Participation Intention Form. For more details see the Notice of Race.
