ISAF Race Officials are the central part of one of the most important roles at ISAF. Put simply, without them, fair and competitive racing would not be possible. Right around the world ISAF has a network of International Measurers (IM), International Judges (IJ), International Race Officers (IRO) and International Umpires (IU) who ensure we can go racing week in, week out.

Race Officials hold ISAF approved status for four years, after which they must apply to the ISAF Secretariat to have their status renewed.

2007 Renewals

With the deadline for 2007 renewals on 1 September, so far the following applications for renewal have been received:

• 32 out of 98 IJ applications
• 9 out of 27 IU applications
• 11 out of 32 IRO applications
• 8 out of 20 IM applications

With just over a month before the renewal deadline, ISAF would like to encourage ISAF Race Officials to submit their applications for renewal as soon as possible.
