This exciting opportunity to join the world governing body for the sport of sailing will involve managing and delivering the ISAF World Sailing Championship s (one of ISAF's pinnacle events, which is the combined world championships for all Olympic Classes held every four years) and the ISAF Youth Sailing World Championships held every year around the world. The successful candidate will also help to deliver ISAF's growing Emerging Nations Programme, develop and promote sailing in Regional Games., and generally support the work of the ISAF Events Department as it organises and runs ISAF's top-level racing events.
Applicants are asked to provide a covering letter stating the reasons that they would be suitable for the job and how they can help promote and grow ISAF's events. A curriculum vitae (CV) showing a full and continuous employment history and formal education qualifications (as well as any sports related qualifications that can add value to the role as outlined in the description provided on the ISAF website ) should be attached to the covering letter.
The deadline for applications is 17 August with candidates successfully chosen to come for a formal interview at the start of September.
