Applications must be approved by the applicants Member National Authority (MNA) and are carefully evaluated by the Sub-committees of each of the four Race Officials disciplines before being approved or rejected by the ISAF Race Officials Committee during the ISAF Annual Conference held every November. Once approved, International Race Officials hold ISAF approved status for four years, after which they must apply to the ISAF Secretariat to have their status renewed.
