ISAF's Connect to Sailing programme has launched a Facebook page as a new online meeting place for the worldwide 'Training Family'.
The Facebook page is available for anyone to access, whilst in addition, users of Facebook can sign up as Fans to follow all the latest updates and post their content on the page.

Dan Jaspers, ISAF Training and Development Manager, explains the aims behind the new Facebook page, "It is the broader, "Training Family" that we at ISAF want to get to know - all those people either delivering training or involved in training programmes or interested in the training agenda worldwide.

"Around the sailing world there are lots of these dedicated individuals spread through many countries and although not necessarily working to formal programmes or formally recognized by their MNA, are doing a fantastic job in a club or a community sailing programme or a school, mostly volunteers and all passionate about what they do.

"The Facebook Connect to Sailing page aims to bring these training facilitators together in order to share experiences and to inspire those who are trying to do the same but are struggling. Together, the Connect to Sailing members will be able to help.

"If you know are one of these people and can let the world know what you do or know someone who can, please tell them about this page and urge them to sign up."
