Sail Melbourne 2009
Melbourne, Australia

There are only five days left until early entries close for Sail Melbourne on 1 December and competitors are urged to enter NOW to avoid an increased entry fee.
Be a part of this fantastic event and be one of the first to experience the new initiatives that Sail Melbourne is offering to competitors and their guests this year:

Sailors and officials are invited to use our Courtesy Car Service throughout week. Audi Australia, a generous supporter of Sail Melbourne, is providing luxury cars. Courtesy cars can be used for airport transfers and transfer to and from the yacht club. Cars must be booked in advance. To book a car, call 0434 108 478 or visit the Regatta Office.

A physio and massage service will be available to competitors throughout the week. Located at the OTB Centre at Sandringham Yacht Club, competitors will need to book in advance for this service and further details will be available shortly on the Sail Melbourne website

All competitors are invited to be a part of the ISAF Sailing World Cup Dinner which will be held at Sandringham Yacht Club on Tuesday 15 December at 19:00. Tickets cost $95 and can be purchased at the Regatta Office or via the website.

Sail Melbourne will once again run the Access Dinghy Challenge on Wednesday 16 December following the day's racing. All competitors and coaches are invited to enter this fun event. There will be a prize for the overall winner and a free BBQ courtesy of Brighton Bay Apartments for competitors.

Sandringham Yacht Club is inviting competitors to take part in the Keelboat Twilight Race on Thursday 17 December, 17:30-20:30. A great opportunity to exchange experiences with club members and round out the day in style. Register at the Regatta Office prior to Wednesday 16 December.

On Friday 18 December, Sail Melbourne will host a Ladies Day lunch in aid of Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.

The day promises to be a beautiful day out for the Ladies, combining Sailing with good food and wine, fashion including beautiful summer style by Flamingo Sands, Natalie Begg, Victor Alexandre & Helly Hansen, lifestyle entertainment and stunning views of the Port Phillip Bay.
