Online registration for the Semaine Olympique Francaise, the fourth event of the 2008-2009 ISAF Sailing World Cup, closes on Monday 30 March.
Over 350 sailors from 47 nations have already registered to take part in the 2009 edition of the Semaine Olympique Francaise (SOF), one of seven events including in the inaugural ISAF Sailing World Cup series. Hyeres, located on the southeast coast of France, just over 20km from Toulon, hosts the SOF from 18-24 April.

The SOF was created in 1968 and is now in its 41st edition. Initiated and still organized by sailors for other sailors, the SOF has grown rapidly over the years to become one of the top annual events for Olympic sailing. This year is the start a new era for the SOF, with the ISAF Sailing World Cup label and the support of the city of Hyères extended to TPM (Toulon Provence Méditerranée), community of cities around Toulon.

25-31 Jan 2009 - Rolex Miami OCR, Miami, USA
4-10 April 2009 - Trofeo SAR Princess Sofia MAPFRE, Palma, Spain
18-24 April 2009 - Semaine Olympique Francaise, Hyeres, France
27-31 May 2009 - Delta Lloyd Regatta, Medemblik, Netherlands
20-29 June 2009 - Kieler Woche, Kiel, Germany
14-19 Sept 2009 - Skandia Sail for Gold Regatta, Weymouth, Great Britain
