After three days of racing, Nicola CELON, at the helm of Uberti's Damiani Ourdream, claimed victory in the IMS class, and won the Ermenegildo Zegna Trophy. In second place was Pierluigi LOROPIANA's My Song followed by Black Dragon.
There was a fantastic comeback for Stefano POLTI's Mintaka in the Swan 45 class. The current world champion won both his division at the Zegna, and the Class National Championship.
Putting in a great performance was Lindsay OWEN-JONES and his Wally Yacht Magic Carpet 2, which claimed victory in her division. Second place went to Claus PETER OFFEN's Y3K, while Luca BASSANI at the helm of Tiketitan secured third.
Paolo ZEGNA presented CELON the Ermenegildo Zegna Trophy, awarded to the skipper with the best scoring across the three day's of racing.
Winners of each class received the Zegna Cup for their division.
The Ermenegildo Zegna Trophy Spring Regatta, organized by the Yacht Club Italiano with the co-operation of the Comune di Portofino, is open to yachts over 55 feet, subdivided into classes IMS (ORC Club) and Wally. Entry is also open to the Nautor's Swan 45, Farr 40 and Transpac 52.
