IC45 Clean Marine Winter Series

Barlo Plastics And Casera produced identical results on the opening day of the final IC45 winter series regatta.
Racing commenced on the waters of the Bay of Palma de Mallorca at 12:00 in 12-15 knots of offshore breeze and quite shifty conditions, which coupled with clear blue skies made for some excellent sailing conditions. The fleet of seven yachts, representing four nations, once again experienced exceptionally close racing as they battled to clinch victory at the finale of the three event series.

Barlo Plastics and La Casera were best placed to take advantage of the wind-bend in the bay. Both boats produced exactly the same scoreline from the four races and lead the fleet with equal points. The other boats all alternated good and bad races keeping their hopes up for a good result in the series.
