Mistral World Championship
Varkiza

The forecast is good at the Mistral World Championships taking place in Varkiza, Greece, with the local strong 'Meltemi' wind predicted to come. However, no racing was completed yesterday, with one race completed on the first day.
Conditions were light for that first race, so the light wind specialists came through. Faustine Merret (FRA) leads the women, and Fabrice Hassen (FRA) Group 1 of the men, and Miroslaw Malek Group 2 of the men. The forecast for the rest of the week is for the local 'Meltemi' wind to arrive, which will build in strength each day through to Saturday.
