Windsurfing Junior, Youth and Masters World Championships

There have been light winds for the first two days of the Windsurfing Junior, Youth and Masters World Championships. Also taking place are the Raceboard World Championships, in Ostia, Italy. Ostia is near Rome.

The Formula class did not complete any racing on the first day because the wind was too light for competition. Around eight knots of consistent wind is needed to complete racing in the Formula Class.

The countries entered in the championships are: France, Holland, Germany, Spain, Poland, Great Britain, New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Israel, Ireland and, of course the home team, Italy.
