This weekend, 10-11 December, the ISAF Race Management Seminar Instructors Seminar will bring together some of the world's top Race Officials at the ISAF Secretariat in Southampton, Great Britain.

Chairman of the ISAF Race Management Sub-Committee Henri van der AAT (NED) will give a welcome speech to the seminar which aims to provide an update on the latest tools to aid Seminar Instructors and introduce the new Race Management Manual.

During the weekend ISAF Council member Charley COOK (USA) will give a presentation on OCS, whilst Chairman of the ISAF Race Officials Committee John DOERR (GBR) will offer up a few words of advice on learning styles. Race Management Sub-Committee member Tony LOCKETT (GBR) will then present an introduction to the new Race Management Manual and written test.

The Instructors Seminar, along with a Race Management Seminar in Malta, will be the last in a long line of ISAF Race Officials seminars this year. By demonstrating commitment to ongoing education, ISAF is investing in the future of the sport by maintaining a focus on one of it's vital and often unsung elements.

By the end of 2005, ISAF will have hosted 25 clinics or seminars in 23 different nations and with seven seminars and clinics already on the calendar for 2006, this programme continues apace next year.
