The last day in the Tarifa Coronita-Mundo Vela International Cup, saw an epic performance by the sailors inscribed in the competition under thunderous levante winds. Probably the windiest competition in freestyle discipline history, has managed to complete 7 freestyle rounds in Freestyle on the men division and 6 on the women division, plus one Formula Windsurfing race in very demanding wind conditions.

At 12:30 the first heat of the day got started with winds blowing up to 50 knots. The surprise of this series has been the elimination of the young Victor Fern‡ndez did not miss a final in the whole event up till this one, leaving it to: Jonas Ceballos from the Canaries, Christopher Ferraretto from France, Daniel Parres from Alicante and Beat Steffan. Beat, a top freestyle PWA world cup competitor that has not been very fortunate during the whole contest in very demanding sailing conditions.

In the end the first place went to the Frenchman Christopher, followed by Daniel Parres in second and Jonas Ceballos in third, with Beat Steffan in fourth. After one and a half hours of rest time, the second series of the day was launched.

In the second round, the stakes were high between Jonas and Victor Fernandez, whoever performed best would be the contest winner. And it was finally Jonas who took victory, after a fantastic performance with push loops, one handed back loops on flat waters and a series of other jumps and tricks it was impossible for Victor to win, having to settle for second place in the final and a second place in the event standings. Third place went to Daniel Parres who seemed to enjoy the nuclear wind conditions of the last days of the event, with Christopher Ferraretto in fourth giving him third place in the overall freestyle contest.
