Hong Kong and China Take Early Lead in Junior Fleets

Mistral Junior and Youth Worlds
Pattaya

The Mistral Junior and Youth Worlds are now underway in Pattaya, Thailand, with 3 races held for the Juniors and 1 for the Youth.
Whilst early days in the scheduled 10 races series for all World Championship titles, the Hong Kong and Chinese sailors in the Junior fleets have taken an early lead.

Current holder of the ISAF Youth World Championship title in the boys youth fleet, Joeri van Dijk (NED) is lying 2nd, whilst the title holder in the girls fleet Zofia Klepacka (POL) is lying 12th - but it is all open after only 1 race.

We are unable to bring you detailed race reports, but results are as follows:

Junior Worlds - under the age of 17
Junior Boys sees 20 entries with results after 3 races as follows:
1. WONG Yu Him (HKG) - 2, 1, 1
2. ESPOSITO Federico (ITA) - 1, 5, 2
3. TZUBARI Shahar (ISR) - 3, 3, 7
4. BIRD Peter (GBR) - 5, 7, 3
5. PRAPAS Alexandros (GRE) - 11, 4, 4

Junior Girls sees 10 entries with results after 3 races as follows:
1. CHEN Linuo (CHN) - 1, DSQ, 1
2. CHANLUENG Sunisa (THA) - 3, 1, 2
3. ODED Shimrit (ISR) - 2, 2, 3
4. TARTAGLINI Flavia (ITA) - 4, 3, 5
5. MA Ka Po (HKG) - 5, 4, 4

Youth Worlds - under the age of 20
The Boys fleet sees 67 entries with results after 1 race as follows:

1. MEVISSEN Kevin (NED)
2. VAN DIJK Joeri (NED)
3. GAILLARD Adrien (FRA)
4. GUYADER Nicolas (FRA)
5. KOKALANIS Byron (GRE)

In the Girls fleet, there are 20 entries, with results after 1 race as follows:
