Volvo Ocean Race

68 miles from the finish line, illbruck is not only leading the Volvo Ocean Race leg 3, but also the Sydney – Hobart fleet for line honours. Next non-V.O.60 rival is 6th placed Nicorette, as per sked six of the CYCA eight miles behind.
Tyco back in second, News Corp, ASSA ABLOY and djuice are within eight miles of each other. The wind increased to 12 knots from the southeast and the yachts are closing in at 9 knots. SEB is 70 miles from the south coast of Australia in the middle of Bass Strait on her way back to Eden. Amer Sports Too sailed into a light spot and slowed down with the wind down to six knots from the north-northeast.
