The Volvo Ocean Race parade of sail will take place on Sunday 23 December. The V.O 60 fleet will be departing from their berths in front of Sydney's National Maritime Museum at 14:30 local time and will spend an hour racing in Sydney Harbour.

At approximately 16:15 the Volvo Ocean Race yachts will rendezvous with the CYCA Sydney-Hobart fleet in Lavender Bay. The fleet will then proceed underneath the Pyrmont Bridge and in to Cockle Bay at an estimated time of 17:00.

The prize-giving ceremony will take place at 18:20, on the innovative floating Aqua Shell, in Cockle Bay, Darling Harbour, with the Volvo fleet moored adjacent, and will be followed by a spectacular fireworks display at 20:30.
