However, there may be special circumstances which could allow applicants to miss one of the test events.
Experience as a Principal Race Officer at the highest levels is not a requirement. ISAF is most interested in IROs with strong training skills and experience on Mark Boats, Finish Boats and Pin Boats.
The selection of IROs to serve on the ISAF Olympic Race Management Team will be made by ISAF in accordance with Regulation 18.12.2. ISAF will endeavour to inform applicants about their tentative selection by the end of February 2006.
Appointment to the ISAF Olympic Race Management Team will be subject to acceptance of all applicable rules, terms and conditions, and a code of conduct. Those selected for service will be provided with accommodation, and reimbursed for travel expenses.
International Race Officers wishing to be considered should submit a completed application to ISAF no later than 1 January 2006.
