Optimist World Championships

Top nine results after Race One on the second day at the Optimist World Championships, taking place at the Olympic venue for 2008, Qingdao in China.

Monday 16 July.

With no racing possible due to lack of wind yesterday the Race Officer managed to get off one race today in light, shifty, misty conditions. At least all sailors managed to finish within the time limit!

Top Nine, Race One were:

2000 World Champion Sime Fantela was 37th.
