Laser Radial Worlds - Open and Women

With the Gold secured at the Open Worlds, Bullot now looks confident to take a second title at the Laser Radial Youth Worlds.
Friday 20 July - Barcelona, Spain. Bullot who was looking fairly confident going into the final day, almost had a mishap in the penultimate race with a wind shift knocking him down the fleet to 40th. However, with some consistent racing he clawed back to 7th position, and with his nearest contenders Fredrik Lassenius (SWE) and Andre Streppel (BRA) who had also suffered the windshift but had not recovered to the same extent, well down the fleet, secured the title with a race to spare.

Starting on Monday are the Laser Radial Youth Worlds, at the same venue, and Bullot will be set to become the first person to take the Open and Youth titles.

In the Women's Event Sara Lane Wright (BER) took two first places to secure the Bronze, with Katarzyna Szotynski (POL) taking Gold and Larissa Nevierov (ITA) Silver.

Croatia were the overall winning team.
