No ALT tag specified

Situation Vacant

The Irish Sailing Association is looking for a committed professional.
The Irish Sailing Association's Strategic Plan charted the way forward for high performance sailing in Ireland. This ambitious programme now requires the services of a dedicated and committed professional who will implement the strategies determined by the ISA's Director of Racing and the Olympic Sailing Group.

The successful candidate will ideally be a competitive sailor with a coaching bias. He/she will be charged with coordinating the current resources at club and class level and developing these resources nationwide so that a coherent national high performance sailing development strategy is effective and visible throughout the island of Ireland.

In addition to sailing ability and experience our ideal team member will have developed good interpersonal skills, be IT literate and hold a full driving license.

While based in Dun Laoghaire, the position will involve considerable travel throughout Ireland as the club and class contacts are developed.

The emphasis will be on Youth Development (including the establishment of a Youth Academy) and the successful candidate will act as Team Leader to ISA Youth World Teams.
