ISAF Youth Sailing World Championship 2011
Zadar, Croatia

Chinese Taipei RS:X Boys sailor Hsu Chin Kai has used a slightly different method to prepare for the 41st ISAF Youth Sailing World Championship in Zadar, Croatia in the form of Spoga.
Hsu Chin Kai's physiotherapist Micheal Cosby has taken him through Spoga to help him develop. Cosby said, "Spoga is sports yoga for athletes and focuses on each athlete, the sport and what issues they have physically in that sport.

"We design a programme specifically for them that focuses on range of motion, transmission of power, reducing blocks in movement and injuries to help them deal with the sport they're competing in and in this case windsurfing."

Cosby has travelled with Hsu Chin Kai as he ventures outside of his home nation for his first international competition, "If he places anywhere in the middle I'll be very happy and if he does better than that I'll be ecstatic.

"He did a couple competitions in Taiwan and just blew everyone away. I think he'll be somewhere in the middle here."
