The Final Countdown

ISAF Youth Sailing World Championship 2011

Zadar, Croatia

The gold medals in each fleet at the 41st ISAF Youth Sailing World Championship in Zadar, Croatia will be decided today.

Throughout the week 247 teams consisting of 349 sailors have battled it out to reign supreme in the 29er, SL16, 420 Boys and Girls, Laser Radial Boys and Girls and the RS:X Boys and Girls.

And today the medals will be decided and awarded to the sailors who have been head and shoulders above the rest.

The Laser Radial fleets will sail on course 3a.

There will be a northwesterly breeze ranging from 10-12 knots through the morning until noon. In the afternoon the wind could increase to 18 knots and will decrease as we head into the evening.

To all the sailors, good luck today and go and enjoy it.
