Doha Sailing Club, Qatar

Qatar will be the host nation for the ISAF Nations Cup Asian Regional Final from 15-21 May at Doha Sailing Club.
Open and women's match racing teams from Bahrain, Hong Kong, India, Pakistan, Singapore, China and Qatar are expected to attend.

Founded in 1959, Doha Sailing Club is authorised by the Government of Qatar and by the Youth and Sports Authority.

The venue hosted the Asian Games in 2006 and the Qatar Match Racing Cup has been held every year since.

The 2011 ISAF Nations Cup Regional Finals is well underway with the South American Finals stirring up some fierce competition.

Brazil's Henrique Haddad won the Open event with compatriot Juliana Senfft claiming the Women's title to qualify for the Grand Final.

The ISAF Nations Cup is a global competition to find the world's top match racing nations in both open and women's events and to develop match racing infrastructure around the world. The Nations Cup encompasses a series of eight Regional Finals from March to July 2011, from which the top team will qualify for the ISAF Nations Cup Grand Final, which will take place in Sheboygan, USA from 13-18 September 2011.
