Canadians Danny MCCOY and Larry ROBINSON captured three seconds and two bullets on the second day of competition, to take the overall lead. They are closely followed by John MCROBERTS (CAN) and Ben CARTER (USA) and just behind them are defending World Champions, Mike and Carl STRALE (USA).

The second day of competition consisted of four knot shifty winds that allowed the top boats to put considerable distance on the rest of the fleet. Holding on to forth spot is Corky AUCREMAN (USA) with local crew, Tyler CHURCHMAN (CAN). Rookie sailor Darryl PARK and crew Paul SHIPLEY (CAN), both of Kelowna, wowed the spectators when they narrowly missed capturing first on the third race on Thursday.

The 2005 IFDS Multihull World Championship is being hosted at the Central Okanagan Sailing Association. This is the second World Championship that COSA has held in the last three years. The Championship combines the expertise of a disabled skipper and an able-bodied crew in trapseat-equipped Hobie 16’s. Racing concludes tomorrow when the 2005 World Champion will be decided.
