Dan Jaspers, ISAF Training and Development Manager said of the latest news from Korea and Singapore, "These partnerships between ISAF and its members in Singapore and Korea continue to highlight the way in which we are working to support all of our members. The Training Resources that ISAF has produced are unique in the fact that their availability is direct to the individual MNAs only.
"We want all of our member to be able to adapt them to suit their own programmes and by selling these books to sailors and coaches within the MNA our member is able to generate much needed revenue to help further develop the National Sail Training Programme."
He goes on to explain the benefits of the resources, "The process of developing, writing and designing a publication is a long and costly one and by us doing the hard work, those of our members that do not have the money or personnel to work on these types of resources can benefit from this service.
"The cost of purchasing the licence is designed to be affordable for any size MNA. The pictures and text can be amended and the words translated. As we develop the range we hope that many more countries will let us know what they want to see in the range of publications and sign up."
We wish Korea, Singapore and all of the other MNAs who are currently working towards using these publications to compliment their National Learn to Sail Training Programme all the best and look forward to sharing more success stories with all of you, our international members, as we develop more resources for you to use.
