Some of the world's top International Match Racing sailors will make the trip to Calpe, Alicante, Spain for the Open de España from 3-14 May.
Real Club Náutico Calpe will hold the Grade 1 VIII Open de España from 3-7 May and XIII International Women Match Race Criterium from 4-8.
The VIII Open de España de Match Race, that will take place in Calpe, Alicante, Spain from 3-7 May, will see some of the world's top ranked match racers.
Four of the world's top ten match racing sailors will compete. World #5
Ian Williams (GBR), World #6
Bjorn Hansen (SWE), World #8
Pierre-Antoine Morvan (FRA) and World #9
Philip Robertson (NZL) are all set to compete.
Warren Jones Regatta winner and World #43 Evan Walker (AUS) is also set to compete.
XIII Criterium Internacional Femenino will start on 4 May and will last until 8 May.
An equally impressive women's field is also set to compete with World #10
Anne-Claire Le Berre (FRA), who is currently eighth in the
ISAF Sailing World Cup Women's Match Racing Standings, signed up to sail. World #11 and compatriot
Julie Bossard is also set to sail.
