Cadiz (ESP) - San Salvador (BAH)

The Cadiz to San Salvador outright record, known as The Discovery Route, was attempted singlehandedly recently by Francis JOYON (FRA), who failed to wrestle it from current holder, Steve FOSSETT (USA) and his crew aboard the G-class multihull Playstation.

Joyon did, however, set an initial World Record and a benchmark single-handed time for the Discovery Route of 11 days 3 hours 17 minutes 20 seconds aboard his vintage 90ft Trimaran, IDEC.
