2005 Australian Youth Championships
Lake Macquarie

The 2005 Australian Youth Championships will be held at Belmont 16ft Sailing Club on Lake Macquarie, from the 6 to 10 of January.
The Championships are open to under 19 year olds sailing in 420, 29er, Sailboard, Hobie 16, Laser Radial and Full Rig classes.

This is the pinnacle event in Australia's youth sailing calendar and the results serve as part of the selection process for the Australian Youth Team. A high calibre of competition can be expected again this year with entries flowing in from elite competitors throughout Australia.

Once more the event has drawn international attention with entries from New Zealand and expressions of interest from Singapore. These international sailors are eligible to compete and will bolster an already strong competition, however they will not be eligible for the Australian Championship title or trophies.

The Notice Of Race and entry forms can be found on the front page of the Yachting NSW website or the Yachting Australia website. Please make sure to include a passport photo with your application.

The entry date for the 2005 Australian Youth Championships is fast approaching all entries received after the 10 December 2004 will incur a 50% late entry fee.
