The third regatta for the Australian Farr 40 season will be the second annual Rhodes Waterside Regatta on November 12-14, being hosted by Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club at Pittwater.
Lang Walker's Walker Corporation is proud to be involved in this regatta which was previously at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia. Rhodes Waterside is Australia's largest mixed-use waterfront development located on the Sydney harbour foreshore, 25 minutes from Circular Quay.
Following successful results in the Inner Circle regatta held recently at Pittwater, class regulars Marcus Blackmore and Richard Perini will be keen to get out on the water again. South Australian David Urry will be back at the helm of War Games after stepping in to steer for David Gotze during the Inner Circle regatta. 'We are looking forward to rejoining the fleet and working on our team work for the Rolex Worlds next March' commented Urry.
The Farr 40 Australian circuit point score, after two regattas has Richard Perini leading on three points followed closely by Matt Allen in second on five points and Marcus Blackmore in third on seven points. The Rhodes Waterside Regatta will be the third in the six regattas that make up the point score circuit for the Australian fleet.
Following the Rhodes Waterside Regatta will be the Savills SORC at Middle Harbour Yacht Club which is being held on November 27-28.
