Team Franz Looking Good On Day Two

Soling European Championship

The Austrian Franz, with Markus SCHNEEBERGER, Volker MOSER, Christian PANEK, despite their tenth in the first race of the day won the second one and lead the overall results with 14 points.
They are now closely followed by the Slovenian team of Bostjan ANTONCIC, Gennadi STRAKH and Zeljko PEROVIC with 16 points after a excellent day with a first and a sixth. In third place are the Hungarian Team of Balazs GYNESE, Gyula MONUS and Karoly VEZER.

Again two races were sailed in the Tonsberg fjord, the wind picked up a little and the German team of Roman KOCH, Maxl KOCH and Christofer WOSSALA scored well with a fourth and a second. They now lie sixth in the overall results with 24 points; just two behind the Netherlands team of Johan OFFERMANS, Hans ZIJLSTRA and Bas DUSEE with 22 points and a third and a eighth as yesterday's finishes. Local team Pål CHRISTOFFERSEN, Karl BOOK and Espen KAMPERHAUG (NOR) managed to stay at the top five with a sixth and a fifth in yesterday's racing.

For today, two more races are scheduled and the Franz is looking forward to keeping in the tight fight between 6 different countries.
