Newport To Bermuda Race
Newport, Rhode Island

Newport Bermuda Race organizers had hoped to keep the entry process totally on-line for 2004, but bugs in the system have forced a temporary change.
Initial "Application for Entry" documents are now available on the event website at the address below and once this downloadable, paper form is submitted by fax or mail and approved, the entry process will continue with on-line forms.

In a newsletter sent to prospective participants and friends of Newport Bermuda Race, chairman John winder wrote, "We have now placed an "Application For Entry" on the web site that can be downloaded and printed. Captains can fill out the form and submit it by fax or mail to the Committee. After the "Application For Entry" has been accepted, you will be issued a login and password and invited to use the Online Entry System to complete the entry process. You can download the Initial "Application for Entry" forms by going www.bermudarace.com/2004/afe.php

"Regretfully," Winder continued, "the team developing the Online Entry System has encountered unexpected delays. We have increased the team of people working on the project and expect completion shortly. We apologize for the delay in what we anticipate to be a wonderful tool for Captains and the Committee. Thank you for your patience."
