Soling World Championship
Porto Alegre

On last but one day of the Soling Worlds at the Veleiros do Sul competitors balanced the score with a Hungarian domination.
The Hungarian crew - George WOSSALA, Leslie KOVA'CSI and Pepe NÈMETH won the fifth race and assumed first place in the overall championship going into the final day today.

The hungarians Balazs GYENESE, Gyula MONUS and Karoly VEZER won the sixth race.

Brazil is the second in the Worlds with Renato Cunha FARIA, Ricardo ERMEL and Eduardo Cunha FARIA from Rio de Janeiro.
The competitors discard the worse results following the sixth race.

With such a close fight for the top three placings, anything could happen in the final races today.

A bright sun and a weak wind made the competitors work hard on Pedra Redonda, Guaíba Lake.

They started the fifth race at 1:55pm with 11 km/h north wind and they finished it with 3 km/h northwest wind.

In the sixth race the wind changed to 18km/h southwest.

Soling World Championship finishes today with the seventh race at 2pm local time.
