The World Sailing Speed Record Council have today announced a number of new records, primarily in windsurfing, and the ratification of the new Round Britain and Ireland Record.
The Round Britain and Ireland Record was won by the Volvo Ocean 60/Open 60 hybrid "Solune", breaking the previous record held by Alex THOMPSON on SailThatDream.com.

As well as that ratification, there are two new national records for windsurfing, and a new A Class Women's Windsurfing World speed record.
