Hobie Worlds 2004

The Hobie Cat Co., the International Hobie Class Association (IHCA) and the Federación Mexicana de Vela (FMV) are proud to announce their most important coming event of the year: the Hobie Worlds 2004.
The event will take place in Mexico's Mayan Riviera, from 4 to 14 May.

The Hobie Worlds take place every two years and this year has gathered more than seven hundred elite competitors from all over the world, that have classified in their countries to participate in their respective category in the World Championship.

In more than twenty five years, the Hobie Worlds has been hosted by many places such as Tahiti, Spain, Dubai, Australia, Hawaii, New Caledonia, among others, and followed by millions of enthusiasts around the globe that own or admire the performance of the most popular catamaran in the world, with a fleet of more than 150 thousand sailboats in the globe. The event's official website for the past world championship, just to make an example, received more than a million visits everyday of competition.

In this occasion, however, the event has had an unprecedented response that has exceeded our expectations and leads us to think that this is going to be the most important Hobie Worlds ever.
