In a first round shock second seeds Mexico went our after losses to Canada, USA 2 and USA 3. Almost as surpising was the second round elimination of Argentina and Brasil by the unfancied USA 3 team.

In the semi-finals top seeds Bermuda beat Japan 2-0 and USA 3 beat USA 1 by 2-1, and in the finals Bermuda beat USA 3 while USA 1 beat Japan for third place. The outcome was therefore:
1. Bermuda
2. USA 3
3. USA 1
4. Japan

Detailed results are on the class website at the address below.

Following a rest day individual racing resumes on Wednesday. Erik BROCKMANN (MEX) leads after the first two days of the championship followed by Austen ANDERSON from Centerport NY and four members of the strong Bermudan team including reigning champion Sean BOUCHARD.

Austen had a great second day to move up from 14 after the first three races. Among the girls USA Worlds team member Stephanie ROBLE from Lake Beulah Y.C. WI in sixth place has established a clear lead.
