2004 HT Mobile Soul & Style, Croatia PWA Freestyle Qualifier

In a stark contrast to the beautiful sunshine and burning blue skies that had blessed the previous days here in Croatia, competitors awoke to rain and grey skies.
The unfortunate news yesterday morning was that due to delays resulting from a car accident, three of the expected international competitors would not be able to make it to Croatia in time for the contest. Douglas DIAZ (Fanatic / North), Jose ESTREDO (Fanatic / North) and Victor FERNANDEZ (Fanatic) had been traveling across Europe and were expected to reach Bol late last night, but due to the accident (in which no one was injured) they will now be unable to attend.

The event will not be without a very impressive list of international talent still, with sailors from as far a field as Israel and the Caribbean having made the journey to the Balkans to make their mark in what is uncharted territory to many of the events competitors.

The weather forecast still holds promise of better conditions for later in the week and as the skies clear over Bol yesterday evening competition organizer Toni BULLIC, is still confident that conditions will improve to make the 2004 HT Mobile Soul & Style, the best yet!
