Sixteen of the world's top 25 ranked women's match racers have accepted invitations to the prestigious event, hosted in J/22's generously supplied by the local J/22 Class Owners. The line up includes all the skippers who were ranked between third and tenth in the 15 January release of the ISAF Women's Match Race Rankings.

However, unable to defend her title is the 2003 World Champion and nominee for the ISAF Rolex World Sailor of the Year Awards 2003, Malin MILLBOURN (SWE).This will leave the field open and with such an impressive line-up the result could go anyway.
