Perform duties

Once elected as the vice president of the World Sailing, I will faithfully perform my duties. Based on the principle of sound moral standards and equality, I will actively safeguard the World Sailing family's interest, and provide the best service to all members with solidarity, harmony, cooperation, inclusiveness and mutual respect.

Develop side by side

I will do my utmost to promote THE EMERGING NATIONS PROGRAMME. To achieve regional common development and headway, I will push forward the training program including coaches, players, technical officials as well as equipment and financial assistance program. I, along with all continents especially the Asia-pacific, Africa and South America, will build a more smooth communication channel for common development.

Focus on Youth

I will vigorously advance the Global Youth Development Program, and build up more convenient and frugal platform for training and competition. Especially, researches should be furthered on the pattern of Youth World and Youth Olympic Games so as to ignite the passion of all competitors.

Advocate the establishment of " Project Development Fund"

I will positively carry forward the Global Navigation Development Fund by seeking more cooperation partners and provide financial and equipment assistance to regions and players desperately in need.

Expand "Voice of Sailing"

Based on such platforms as "MNA's Forum"?"Secretary General Forum"?"Women Forum", I will conduct more healthy dialogues, listen to the voices from member nations, regional representatives, cooperation partners, media, producers, and amateurs, and advocate the concept of solidarity, cooperation and mutual support.

Work on the Development of More WS Members

Give efficient support to the nations and regions that did not have their own sailing organization. Help them to set up the sailing program. Encourage them to promote sailing sport and join the World Sailing family. Expand the scale of World Sailing through the increase of MNAs.

Promote brand marketing

I will provide service to expand the brand influence of World Sailing, especially in the Olympic Games, World Cup and relevant international sailing events. More related researches are needed.

Sailing Career

Involvement in the Organization of Many International Regattas

- In 1989, I was involved in the planning and preparation of the marina for the 1990 Beijing Asian Games;

- I was part of the team in China's bid for the 2000 and 2008 Olympic Games;

- As a representative of CYA, I was directly involved in the preparation of the Olympic marina and the organization;

- I have spent much effort to hold ISAF World Cup Qingdao in China, which it the only one of all the sub-stations where prizes are provided to the winners. Chinese organizing committee has actively created favourable conditions for those excellent players around the world.

Being an International Jury in Many International Sailing Regattas over the past 20 years since my accreditation in 1988

- improved my professionalism and personal capacity;

- established good relationships with other international organizations and friends in the sailing world.

Construction of Sailing Infrastructure in China's Coastal Cities

- Since the successful host of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, China has built 26 advanced sailing centers; dozens of medium and small sized sailing clubs and training bases along China's coast, which serve as a platform for foreign exchange and training and competitive activities.

Support Social Sectors to Participate in Sailing

- I have devoted much time to developing regattas for non-professional sailors, Such as China Cup International Regatta which have greatly promoted the communication among Asia-Pacific sailing communities and provided opportunities for amateurs.

Support the growth of youth sailing in new nations

- We have carried out the Optimist Asian and Sailing Developing Nations Support Plan and decided to provide free OP sailing boats to Asian Countries each year in the future.
