| The General Assembly of the International Sailing Federation takes places every four years. It is on this occasion that the ISAF Officers (President and Vice-Presidents) members of the ISAF Council and all other ISAF Committee, Sub-Committee and Commission members automatically retire.
The next ISAF General Assembly will take place on Saturday 15 November at the Hotel Melia Castilla in Madrid, Spain, at the end of the 2008 ISAF Annual Conference (click here for more on the Annual Conference).
All full ISAF Member National Authorities (MNAs) are entitled to be represented at the General Assembly and to vote for the new ISAF President and the seven Vice-Presidents.
MNAs can nominate members for the ISAF Executive Committee, ISAF Council, ISAF Committees, Sub-Committees and Commissions.
