The ISAF Council approved the creation of a new Olympic Commission at the 2008 ISAF Annual Conference held in Madrid, Spain.
The Olympic Commission will inform and advise the Executive Committee on:
(a) matters affecting the preparation of the sailing in the Olympic Games; and
(b) such other matters related to the Olympic Sailing Competition as the Executive Committee may ask from time to time.
